I tried with 3 different usb-c converters, one direct 1:1 converter, one usb-c 8 in 1 hub (with and without external power) and another usb splitter. If I unplug it and plug it in again, It is not recognised at all as a USB device, although it does get power. After completely removing G-Hub and its audio plugins, restarting the mac 10 times, uninstalling and reinstalling blue sherpa 3 times, the Mac now sees the Yeti, but ONLY if it is plugged in at startup.
After installing Logitech G-Hub I started having issues with the output of the mic (completely muting the system when skipping ahead in a youtube video) so I updated MacOS ot 11.6.Īfter the update the Yeti was not detected as a USB device at all. Hi,I got a Blue Yeti recently and it worked perfectly on my MacBook Air M1 running MacOS 11.5.7. Step 3: Remove logi_audio_override.kext from Library/Extensions Step 2: Remove the GHub plugin from Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL Step 1: Uninstall Sherpa and G-Hub completely Finally the Yeti is recognized not only on startup but when unplugged and plugged in again:
